Carol grew up with Shedd's Old Style Sauce and to her a BLT
isn't complete without it. The original company in Kentucky sold
it off to Aunt Nellie's, who produced it for a while then
discontinued it. It's different from any other marketed sauces and
good on a variety of things. We found this recipe on the internet
by a poster called Wilderness. We had a little left of the
original we'd been hoarding and can say this copycat recipe is
really pretty close to the original in our taste test. Thank you,

Shedd's Sauce Copycat Recipe
Wilderness
1/2
cup Hellman's mayonnaise
1
Tbs, Woebers Horseradish Sauce
1
egg yolk hard boiled
2
tsp sugar
1
tsp white vinegar
1/2
tsp soy sauce
dash
white pepper
dash
cayenne
Instructions
Break
the egg yolk up as finely as possible.
Mix
then whisk all ingredients. Keep refrigerated.
