| 'Niagara Falls' (Brincka and Petryszyn, 1991) is 36x20" with 48" flower scapes. It forms a loose spreading mound. The leaves are dark green with a glaucous bloom which later becomes a waxy sheen. They are distinguished by small regular marginal undulations. The leaves are heart-shaped. The parentage is montana macrophylla x 'Sea Drift'. The marginal undulations of the leaf edges (piecrusting) are regarded by many as one of the nicer examples. It makes a spectacular clump. Mistakenly listed as sterile. |
