| 'Mr. Asami', also seen as 'Mr. Asami Improved' was introduced to the international market by Hideko Gowen. An unregistered plant from Japan, it is small, with variegated leaves. Van Wade says that it may also be seen listed as 'Lancifolia Asami Improved' or just 'Asami'. It is about 8" tall and has a narrow white margin, and appears to be a sieboldii sport from the wild, similar to 'Gingko Craig'. |
