'Mississippi Delta' comes from a cross between 'Sea Gold' and 'Golden Torch'. It was registered by Olga Petryszyn in 1998.The plant is 56 x 32" with 40-42" scapes. The leaves are an intense blue-green with a slightly rippled margin. They are nearly round with a cordate base. The flowers are near white and tubular. The scapes also carry inflorescent leaves. The leaves have good substance, are lightly wavy and corrugated, and have glaucous bloom on the underside. The growth rate of the plant is moderate.
