| 'Mikawa-no-Yuki' was registered by Pete Ruh and H. Sugita in 1997. The leaves are medium green with a slightly rippled margin. The top of the leaf has a dull patina while the underside is white. The leaf is wavy, lance-shaped with a tapered base, and has red freckling at the base of the petioles themselves. The size of the plant is 30 x 14" with 14-16" flower scapes. The seed is viable. It was originally called 'Okazaki Special'. The leaves are often referred to as classic and elegant. The parentage is "kikutii white back " x "longipes white back". |
