| 'Midnight Sun' was registered by D. & J. Ward in 1996. It is upright and has a slow growth rate. The leaves are a bright yellow-gold with slightly rippled margins. The shape is ovate with a cordate base. The parentage is 'High Noon' x montana macrophylla ('Praeflorens' is not correct ). The size of the plant is 60 x 28" with 36-39" scapes. The flowers are near white and tubular. The seed is viable. Its most notable characteristic is that the bright color comes early and lasts. |
