| 'Maraschino Cherry' is a sport of the Lachmans' 'Cherry Berry'. When it was registered by Zilis and Solberg in 1999 it had already been on the market for a while. It is a rapid growing plant with all green leaves and scapes of a greenish-purple-red. A clump may reach 36 x 16" with 20 -36" scapes. The flowers are medium lavender, tubular and set viable seed. The leaves are elliptic with a tapered base. |
