| 'Mack the Knife' was registered by Jim Dishon in 1996. The parentage is 'Galaxy' x 'Hadspen Heron'. The plant is slow growing, eventually creating a mound 15 x 5" with 13" scapes. The lance-shaped leaves are dark green with a slightly rippled, deep gold margin. In some circumstances the margin color is referred to as "orange." This color fades a bit as the summer progresses. They have a tapered base and a very wide petiole, are moderately wavy, and slightly twisted. The substance is excellent. |
