| longissima var. longifolia has true strap-like leaves with no discernible petiole transition. The leaves barely swell out much past the width of the petioles and in some cases are no wider. It has small flowers on long, thin scapes. Japanese names include 'Hosoba Mizu Giboshi' and 'Nagaba Mizu Giboshi'. |
