| 'Locomotion' resulted from crossing 'Crested Surf' with 'Bold Ruffles'. The plant is 25" in diameter and 13" high. The ovate (6.5" x 3") leaves have a rounded base and smooth margins. The leaves are intensely blue-green and display a glaucous bloom above and underneath. The leaves are moderately folded and moderately rippled. They have 6 pairs of moderately prominent veins. The glaucous burgundy scapes have inflorescence leaves and are 31" long. The tubular flowers are medium lavender and produce viable seed. |
