Briggs Nursery registered 'Little Sunspot' in 1996. It is a sport of 'Little Aurora'. The mound-like plant is 12" in diameter and 5" high. It displays a moderate growth rate. The 3" x 2" medium gold leaves have a highly variable flat medium green margin. The leaves are dull on top and waxy underneath. They are ovate with a rounded base and slightly cupped. They have 13-15 pairs of insignificant veins. The medium green scape varies from 12-18" in height. The tubular flowers are white with lavender stripes and begin blooming August 1 in Olympia, Washington.
