| Registered by W. and E. Lachman in 1992, 'Lacy Belle' resulted from a cross of a 'Neat Splash' seedling and 'Halcyon'. The plant is 21" wide and 12" tall. The leaf color is a medium blue-green with a .5-1" wide creamy white slightly rippled margin changing to white. The leaf shape is ovate (6.75 x 3.75") with a flat base and pointed tip. It is moderately twisted, of heavy substance, and very shiny on top. The underneath is dull in texture. There are 7-8 pairs of veins. The 25" dark green scape holds the flaring, medium lavender flower, which blooms midseason. |
