Hosta 'Lakeside Shore Master' is truly a master of the garden. The clump
emerges with blue leaves but they quickly develop rich yellow centers that
improve with the rigors of summer. Heavy substance and near-white flowers
make this a striking plant. It is a 1998 introduction and the parentage is
unknown. It is fast growing and makes a mound-like habit. It has leaves
which are broadly ovate with cordate bases. Submitted by Mary Chastain |
