The leaves of 'Lakeside Feather Light' remind one of quill pens. Although they would be classified as small, the plant is robust and quickly makes a large clump. The green and white undulating leaves extending from very long petioles add to the light, feathery appearance. Graceful scapes with bell-shaped orchid flowers increase its charm. It is a 1998 introduction. The leaves are ovate with a rounded base. The seeds are viable and the parentage is "streaked seedling" x "seedling."
