| kiyosumiensis is a species whose name refers to Mount Kiyosumo, near which it was discovered. Variants of the species are yellowish to light green in color, and small- to medium- sized. Emerging shoots in the Spring are also yellowish green. Unusual in this species are finely serrated leaf edges. Bloom time is mid-season. Uncommon. |
