| 'King Tut' came from Gretchen Harshbarger. It is 46x19" with a 35" flower scape. It is descended from a 'Tokudama Aureonebulosa' hybrid. The leaves are broadly ovate with a cordate base. It has excellent substance an no corrugation. Early in the season the leaves are chartreuse but they soon turn yellow-gold.It is considered one of the better golds. Sports from it include 'Mister Watson' (Jones - green margin), and 'Tut Tut' (Williams - green centered). |
