'Frosted Jade' was registered in 1978 by Lillian Maroushek. This hosta stands erect and has large 12" long x 9" wide leaves. There are 10 pairs of veins on this flat heart-shaped leaf. AHS ALAHOSO Bowl 1989, AHS 1989 Eunice Fisher Award. The leaf is a dark jade green with bright white regularly narrow margins. The overlapping of the two colors creates a third muted color: gray-green. A mature plant will have some undulations in the leaves. The parentage is a sport of a montana x "Krossa B-1" hybrid. One of the true classics.
