| 'Forest Shadows' came from K. Engle in 1999. It is 15x10" with a mound-like habit and a moderate growth rate. The leaf is a medium green with a slightly rippled dark green margin. The leaf is dull on both sides. It is broadly ovate with a rounded base. The leaves are lightly corrugated. Its most notable characteristic is the green on green variegation. The flowers are lavender, tubular, and appear on 12" scapes which also have inflorescent leaves. It is a sport from 'Gumdrop'. |
