Kevin Vaughn created an interesting plant in 'Flower Power'. It has lots of fragrant flowers that bloom early in zone 5/6. The leaves have slight ruffling on the margins. 'Flower Power' was registered in 1987. The leaf turns from gray to metallic green. It has deeply impressed veins and is rugose. It is 46" x 30" with scapes as tall as 50". The parentage is nigrescens x plantaginea. Originally thought to be sterile, it does set some seed.
