| Although 'Donahue's Piecrust was registered in 1999 by Ruh and Donahue, it has been available for some years. The plant is 18 x 24" with a 27" flower scape. The leaf is a medium green with a heavily rippled margin. It is dull on top and on the bottom. The basic shape is ovate with a cordate base. The flowers are near-white and tubular. The plant has been used regularly as a breeder because of its edge. The leaves are intensely wavy and lightly cupped. It is a montana hybrid. The plant is upright and slow growing. |
