| 'Delta Dawn' from Kevin Vaughn sounds like the beginning of a poem. It is an 'Aztec Treasure' seedling. Tony Avent describes it as having a very large corrugated chartreuse golden leaf accented by a wide creamy margin that ends in a wave-like swirl at the edges. The base of the leaf is cordate and the young leaves are often rugose before they mature into a different type of corrugation. The flowers are light lavender. A 4-year-old specimen measures 22 x 12" with a 20" flower scape. The plant is considered large. |
