| 'Carnival' is a 1986 Lachman hosta which is 36 x 16" with 36" scapes. The leaves (27 x9") are dark green with a wide yellow margin with some streaking to the midrib. There is also some mottling of the yellow and green. The leaves have heavy texture, are glossy, and develop intense rugosity as they age. The plant is a 'Beatrice' seedling x 'Frances Williams' cross. The flowers are lavender and long lasting. A streaked version of 'Carnival' is called 'Festival'. |
