| 'Brother Stephan' comes from O. Petryszyn (1998). The plant is 35 x 22" with a 24" flower scape. The leaf is 11 x 10" wide, yellow with a slightly rippled medium green margin, and dull on top with a glaucous bloom on the underside. Leaf shape is nearly round with a cordate base. It is deeply corrugated and slightly cupped. The registration describes a notable characteristic: the leaf has a "maple leaf" variegation pattern. It sets viable seed. The parentage is 'King Tut' x 'Mildred Seaver' seedling. |
