'Brim Cup' is a 1986 Kevin Vaughn plant with a foliage mound 15 x 12" and 18" bloom scapes. It was one of a number of plants taken and registered by Aden without permission, and the parentage is lost. The leaves are 7 x 5" with wide white irregular margins. It has a cupped leaf with a green center. The leaf is seersuckered. Van Wade says that the flowers open bluish and tend to turn white as the summer progresses. The plant prefers shade to 1/4 sun. It is an inexpensive, popular hosta. |
