| This 1975 hosta from Arett is an sieboldiana 'Elegans' hybrid derivative, but differs from it in that the leaf margins are distinctly rippled. The leaves themselves are gray-blue and cordate leaves with excellent substance and can be as large as 15 x 12". Very large (38 x 34") and upright. The flowers are pale lavender. It is fertile. Diana Grenfell says that it makes an excellent border specimen. |
