| This 1988 hosta makes a superior specimen plant. It received the 1988 Benedict Award. The leaves are a glossy bright medium green with a great contrasting yellow to cream edge. They are flat, ovate, and average 11 x 8" in size. It does not make a symmetrical clump but the leaves are close together. The plant has the reputation for being a rapid grower. It has purple striped flowers and is fertile. The overall size pushes 48 x 24". It comes to us from William Brincka. |
