An AHS multiple award winner. The long green tapering leaves start out with a yellow edge which later turns to white. Leaf edges are irregular and often have mottling and marbling as part of the overall patterning. The leaves cascade, adding to the the dense mound which can easily reach a 26" spread. The plant was originated by Tompkins and came to us via Peter Ruh (for Hofer) in 1979. The flowers are pale lavender and the scapes may well be 26". The plant is fertile. It is similar to 'Spinners'. It needs partial shade. |
