| This is a large plant from Van Wade, introduced in 1996. As of this writing there is still a waiting list for pieces of the plant. The size of a mature mound is 36 x 24" with 36" scapes holding nearly white flowers. The leaves are 11 x 9", with a very wide dark blue-green irregular margin. There is a smaller cream or light speckled green center. A sport of 'Northern Mist', it seems to be a non-identical sister to 'Northern Mystery'. Van Wade says that it is slow to multiply but a vigorous grower ... an interesting distinction. |
