Alpine Aire (Minks 80)

This is an inexpensive gold with mature dimensions of 24 x 20". The pod parent was 'August Moon' and it was hybridized by E. Minks. The spoon-pointed leaves form a tight/dense mound and it has lavender to white flowers from July through August. The pollen parent has been listed as 'Wagon Wheels' although this issue seems to be in debate. The initial leaves are chartreuse but change to gold with sufficient sun. The plant is fertile. A good grower.
